2009 Bird Dog Training School Schedule and Registration
Seminars for Dog Clubs, Kennels, and Hunt Clubs

Through their personalized, hands-on approach, George and his staff have helped hunters and their dogs reach excellence in training for well over two decades. Beginning trainers have learned how to train their young dogs into truly praise worthy hunting companions. More experienced trainers have learned how to bring their already seasoned hunting companions to even greater standards of excellence. Under George's guidance and with the help of his time-tested training methods, students are immersed in a comprehensive program covering all aspects of training the pointing, flushing, and retrieving breeds for upland hunting.

Advanced / Hunt Schools   (You must contact our office to register for these classes or hunts)

Advanced School/Hunt
November 12 - 17, 2009
Arrival - Wednesday afternoon - November 11   
Departure - Wednesday morning - November 18 
Location - Sand Wells Outdoors, Hugoton, KS
Price - $3175 per person.

The advanced school hunt is reserved for owners and their dogs who have attended a four or five day school previously.  The experience is being held at Sand Wells Outdoors.  The participants will have 14,000 acres of absolutely superb wild bird habitat to train and hunt their dogs.

The season opens on November 14.  For the two days (Nov 12-13) prior to the opener George will work with the owners and their dogs in the field on wild birds.  And there is no shortage of habitat and birds to give owners and their dog’s valuable hunting experience.  Then the hunting starts on opening day.

This unique event is limited to six owners to ensure a blue ribbon experience.

Meals and lodging are included in the price.  Owners need only their dogs, guns and shells, and a Kansas hunting license.  Arrival is the afternoon of November 11 and departure is in the morning of November 18.

Kansas Wild Bird Hunt 
November 19 - 22, 2009
Arrival - Wednesday afternoon - November 18   
Departure- Monday morning - November 23 
Location - Sand Wells Outdoors, Hugoton, KS
Price- $2850 per person

With over 14,000 acres of spectacular wild bird habitat at their disposals, participants will experience superb wild bird hunting.  The hunt is limited to six people.  Participants and their dogs will spend time with George in the field gaining valuable experience in this bird rich environment.  

This event is ideally tailored for owners and their friends who have a dog that has been shot over and desire to hunt wild birds.  This is not a block and drive hunt with guests surrounding a corn field while guides drive the birds.  The habitat offers the best pheasant hunting for individuals and their dogs that I know.

Lodging and meals are included in the price.  Guests need only a dog or dogs, their shotgun, shells, and a Kansas hunting license.  George will also have his canine guide team available.  Arrival is afternoon of November 18 and departure is morning of November 23.
