George Hickox has spent most of his life guiding and training gun dogs. George Hickox's resume boasts of having trained and campaigned numerous field trial champions, National Championship placement winners, and National High Point champions. However, George's passion is developing bragging rights hunting dogs.

George has guided for ptarmigan in Alaska, grouse and woodcock in the Maritimes; huns, sharptails, and pheasants in the prairies; and bobwhite quail in Georgia. George understands hunting and how to train dogs for hunters.

George is the Hunting Dog Editor for Shooting Sportsman magazine, writes training tips for Pointing Dog Journal and Retriever Journal, and can be seen regularly on Beretta's Wing Shooting Journal television show.

Carol Brown manages the Stonecreek Kennels' young dog development program. Carol's canine education focused on dog behavior and behavior modification. Her expertise with clicker training and positive reinforcement training methods coupled with her understanding of how dogs learn, enables her to bring dogs to impressive levels of training. Carol gained her bird hunting experience trekking the Western grasslands hunting huns, sharptails, and pheasants with her personal gun dogs. Additionally, her degree in nursing brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the health management of the kennel.
